Operations Associate

We are seeking a results-driven individual to serve in the role of Operations Associate (Austin, TX Hybrid or Remote) for the Profound Commerce family of brands. This position is for US Candidates only.

Our Operations team is dedicated to ensuring our products are available in our markets in a timely manner and delivered to our customers with care. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day logistics for marketplace operations, including maintaining strong relationships with our vendors, managing QA/QC, inbound logistics, and outbound shipping (primarily through Amazon). The primary objectives of this position are to maximize capital efficiency and the customer experience across all Profound Commerce brands. The ideal person for this role thrives in fast-paced startup environments and has demonstrated an ability to be effective with finite resources. This is a full time remote position if outside of Austin, Texas. If in Austin, Texas, this will be a hybrid role.

Responsibilities 

• Plan logistics of inventory orders and replenishments to maintain adequate inventory levels in all marketplaces 
• Manage relationships with partners and vendors, including overseeing day to day vendor interactions, and handling escalations. 
• Manage existing vendor relationships including cost negotiation, investigating cost discrepancies, and quality oversight. 
• Implement systems, policies and procedures to ensure smooth operation of business. Continually improve and automate systems. 
• Help analyze and manage shipment costs, assist in gathering quotes
• Work with Amazon Seller Central to monitor inventory issues & create shipment plans
• Assist with Customer Service escalations from the offshore team
• Collaborate with an offshore team for inventory analysis 

Qualifications 

• 0-2 years of eCommerce Supply Chain & Logistics experience with Amazon Seller Central and 3rd Party Warehouses preferred
• Strong attention to detail 
• Highly organized with focus on execution, problem solving, and improving processes 
• Exceptional time management skills and personal accountability 
• Analytic skills to aggregate and draw conclusions from many datasets to inform daily, weekly and monthly activities 
• Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a flexible environment 
• Team player with an ability to work collaboratively 
• Entrepreneurial spirit / self-starter with a “get stuff done” mentality
